paddleboarding for people who don't like paddleboarding
One of the first questions people ask is whether they have to stand the whole time.
The short answer is no.
The longer answer is that we've never been particularly interested in telling people how they're supposed to spend an afternoon.
Some guests stand for hours. Some sit before they've even left the dock. Most switch back and forth depending on the weather, the conversation, or how ambitious they're feeling that day.
That's why we offer Kayak Conversion Seats.
Not because we're trying to turn paddleboards into kayaks. Mostly because not everyone wants the same experience.
One person wants a workout.
Another wants to drift through the floating homes with a coffee.
Someone else wants to spend two hours taking photos and pretending they're paddling.
All perfectly reasonable.
The best afternoons on the water tend to have very little to do with performance. Nobody remembers how many strokes they took across Portage Bay. They remember the friend who was twenty minutes late, the unexpected stretch of sunshine, or the moment they realized they had nowhere else they needed to be.
The board is simply what gets you there.
Standing is optional.
